Philippine Prudential Life Insurance Company, Inc. (Philippine Prudential), the industry leader in innovation and growth, recently received its Certificate of Authority (CA), after complying with all the requirements of the Insurance Commission of the Philippines (IC). The CA is an assurance that Philippine Prudential is deemed qualified by the Insurance Commission to operate and transact its insurance business. This also validates the integrity and responsibility of Philippine Prudential in assuring the best interests of its over 1.8 million policyholders and the general public.

With the Certificate of Authority in your hand now, what is the status of the Prudential Life Pension Plan? It was on hold early this year and all that matured cannot withdraw their money. Will appreciate clarification on this. Thanks.
Good day Ms. Sulit!
Many thanks for your query. We’d like to take this opportunity to remind everyone, especially our Valued Policyholders that we, Philippine Prudential Life Insurance Company, Inc. (Philippine Prudential,) has no filial or business relationship whatsoever with Prudentialife Plans, Inc., a pre-need company which carries pension, education and memorial plans and which you mentioned was issued a “stay order” by the Insurance Commission earlier this year.
Philippine Prudential, which is now celebrating its 49th year of sterling, trustworthy and continuous service, remains stable, financially strong and capable of meeting all of its obligations, as a duly-licensed life insurance company by the Insurance Commission. We hope this clarifies matters. Thank you so much.
I have three certificates from the Prudential life Plan all paid. I would like to ask your assistance on this matter by giving me updates on what had happened to the insurance because when i claimed its services when my mother died last November 11, 2012 i was surprised the Prudential Plan in Bacolod City branch was already closed. There was no prior notice to plan holders. Thank you.
Good day Ms. Tierra,
As seen in the earlier comment above, we would like to reinstate that our Company, Philippine Prudential, is a LIFE INSURANCE Company. We have NO filial relationship or affiliation with the Pre-need Company, Prudentialife Plans, Inc. (PPI), which sold pension, education and memorial Plans. We are now celebrating our 50th Golden Anniversary and we are proud to say that we continuously remain to be stable and financially strong to meet our obligations.
Thank you,
Corporate Communication Office.
